Studies for the Ottawa side

The Government of Canada today announced a $31.6 M investment over three years, starting in 2025–26, to conduct feasibility studies for the portion outside Quebec.

The call for tenders under the technical and multidisciplinary professional services contract awarded to Groupe Porteur included an option for studies for the portion outside Quebec.

The technical and environmental studies will be able to start in spring 2025, with sector-specific public consultations organized by the Project Office and slated to start in winter 2026.
