The opportunity study is generally followed by approximately ten years of work leading up to its completion. locations<\/li>\n<li>Artwork and structure planning (Portage Bridge, Saint-Raymond overpass, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Identification of the maintenance and operations centre\u2019s requirements<\/li>\n<li>Tram operation study<\/li>\n<li>Identification of acquisitions<\/li>\n<li>Restructuring of the bus system<\/li>\n<li>Estimation of work costs and timelines<\/li>\n<li>Preliminary design<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the choice of mode (traditional or alternative)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public and sector-specific consultation process <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Public and sector-specific consultation meetings, ongoing.<\/li>\n<li>Consultations with Indigenous communities, ongoing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* <em>The <a contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP) and of the form for federal land use, design and transaction approval (FLUDTA) to the National Capital Commission (NCC).<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of Quebec (MELCCFP) and federal (NCC) government environmental processes.<\/li>\n<li>Description of the receiving environments (biological, physical and human).<\/li>\n<li>Identification of issues.<\/li>\n<li>Consideration of climate change issues (GHG emission reduction, adaptation measures).<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and submission to the MELCCFP of the \u00c9tude d\u2019impact sur l\u2019environnement (EIE) and of the Environmental Assessment (EA) to the NCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>* Consult the <a
